Stormbringer Design started as an idea back in 1994, when I wrote to the fantasy author Michael Moorcock – whose work I had become a fan of (including the 1965 book, Stormbringer) – rather cheekily, asking if I could use the name of one of his characters for my new design enterprise. At the time, I was working with local rock bands in Ashford, Kent creating band logos, stage backdrops and the like. Mike wrote back straight away to say yes, as long as none of his trademarks were infringed.

After various bouts of freelancing interspersed with permanent roles, I decided to resurrect the name in 2015 (having only used it on my own non-profit work up until then); taking the brave step to go Limited in 2016.

Here and now…

I now work with design agencies in the UK, Europe and the US for a wide range of end clients. Recent client highlights have included Johnnie Walker, the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, Stellantis, AWS (with Formula 1) and Footlocker (working in combination with the NBA).
